Last picture posted, don't want to see that in 20 years.

This is a much prefered picture to the last one. Yeah, I just looked back at that last post and that picture is cute and all, NOW! I will need to let her know that in 20 years I don't want her bringing home a picture of herself looking like that after a night of drinking. ;) Poor baby, what kind of mother was she born to?

I need to send a shout out to a few people and shout at a few stubborn babies to get here already.

Niobe, Congratulations on baby boy Cole!

The Modernity Ward, formerly known as the Leery Polyp, congratulations on baby girl, Daphne!

Antigone, Congratulations, I know way late, on the arrival of Perseus!

Now, that baby that won't come out, Hey Amelia! Come out and play. We all want to meet you little girl. Don't make me come down there and talk to you through Mommy's Belly. ;) Good luck Becky and Dave. I hope she gets here soon so I can come visit you all again.

I know that I am missing some people and once I remember, since this technically is my Monday this week, I will update or send word in my next post. Aren't you all glad I didn't wait another 3 months to post? Because you all are just holding your breath waiting on me. ;) Peeing myself laughing at that one.

To those who have recently gotten news of the impending arrival of a new one with in the 2009 year, congratulations. I won't mention names or link to your sites since I appear to have been a jinx to others. I will just wait til the bundles arrive and congratulate you then. I am thinking of you and reading your blogs to keep up to speed on your progress. Send me your addresses and I will make you blankies.....;) Niobe and Becky and DD and Catherine and Flicka have done it and so far, I have not shown up on the doorsteps in an adult diaper. ;)

Smooches.

One year ago today *updated*

Happy First Birthday to my darling dragon baby. What a difference a year makes.

A year ago today at this time I was begging for the epidural. Tonight, I fell asleep in the chair with you in my arms. I should be in bed now too.

Then, you could barely keep your eyes open and ate non-stop. Now, you fight to keep those big grey eyes open no matter how tired you are and you decided today that you don't want to eat. I know that will pass but it still worries me.

Then I could hold you in one arm and you seemed so heavy. Now, I need to two arms and you really are heavy. We find out tomorrow just how much you have grown.

Then you didn't know how to smile. Now, you never stop smiling. You light up the room with your happiness. Won't you give some to your brother for me?

Thank you for coming into our lives Marjorie. You were sure worth the wait. I hope that your first year on earth was a great as having you here has been for all of us. We love you so much baby girl. Don't grow up too fast and always stay sweet.

This is what happens when you won't hold still long enough for your brother to redress you when he has to change a poop diaper. Try to be a bit nicer to him as you grow, your parent's are old so you may get stuck with him putting you through college. ;)

Yesterday she was 31 1/2 inches tall, 99 percentile and 24 pounds 1 ounce, 90th percentile. She is the size of most 18 month old babies, which explains why she is wearing 24 month clothing. Due to her good health and giant baby status she gets a free pass on the 15 month visit. Yeah, one less trip to the doctor. She is also getting all 4 of her 12 month molars at once. My girl never does anything halfassed. ;)
