Hey, hey she's a Monkey!

Hi all. (snort) Just wanted to let you know we are all still alive and doing fine. Went through a roll of sickness between the baby, then all the kids at the daycare and then the babysitter and then big brother and now dad. So far so good, I haven't been struck with it.

Projects have been progressing around the antique house I own. I put in a glass block window in the basement a few weeks ago. I should have taken a before picture but of course putting in the glass block was not the original plan when I tore out the old window.

Large Marj was 20 pounds 10 ounces and 29 inches long at her 9 month appointment. She is crawling all over the place now. When she first started she kept wiping out on the hard wood floors but now has mastered the hard floor and goes a hundred miles an hour. She is pulling up on everything and will stand on her own for a few seconds. Until she gets so proud of herself that she starts to clap and that usually knocks herself over.

Daycare costs are killing me. Wish mom and dad were here year round. Oh well, they will be home for Christmas so that is good.

Other then that just trying to prepare for winter. It is sleeting out right now so that should be fun driving home.

So really nothing too exciting. I have become quite boring since I had that kid, haven't I? I guess we will keep her though, she is too much fun. Still doing cloth diapers and kind of forcing the babysitter to use them. Not sure though if she is changing her often enough. She usually only gives me 3 or 4 diapers at the end of each day and when we have the girl home all day we go through closer to 10. Are we overly anal about keeping her dry? Yeah, I am having issues with the babysitter and not sure how to handle it since she is my friend and neighbor's mom. Could be ugly if I pulled the girl from that daycare. It is nice only having to pay for the days she is there though versus a big daycare that I would have to pay for the whole week regardless of if she was there or not. Dilemas of a working mom.

Well, I am still waiting for my registration to go through with Blogher so that I can be registered and maybe even attend since it will be in Chicago and lots of my girls will be going and I would love to meet them in real life. Guess I need to post more so that they think I have a real blog and not just this boring old thing taking up space in Blogland. ;)
