Happy Anniversary Honey!

Well, Steve and I made it 3 whole years without any serious injuries or killing each other. I almost forgot about it but mom said something the other day. Steve remembered though and got me diamond earrings for our anniversary. Thanks Dear!!

You can see his goofy brother there on the right. They do not look a thing a like yet the aunts call Steve, Idiot(not his real name, obviously), all the damn time. Get it right, Steve has the Good Wife people!!!

Last Monday we had another ultrasound and there is still a heartbeat. I am a bit concerned that the Blob is not more active. I read on all the other blogs that everyone's little blobs are bouncing around all over the place and mine just keeps turning it's back to the ultrasound wand. I guess we will know more this Friday at the big ultrasound and Nuchal Fold testing in Madison.

Other then that just trying to not puke and to stay cool, it really sucks having a house with no air conditioning. May have to do something about that.

I guess if this whole baby thing pans out we are going to push the remodeling of the attic room up a couple years so that we have a place to put the kid.

I have been having, most of the afternoon, a tight, not quite crampy feeling on the left side of my abdomen, any ideas as to what that could be? I hope it goes away before softball tonight. Yes, I am still playing softball and yes, I am being very careful, not that I have to worry much as we don't have a very good pitcher so not much action gets to the outfield.

DinoD, how are you? 37 weeks, by my count this week. Hope everything is going great for you.

DD, hope your vacation is super fun. You sure could use some fun these days. Wish I could do something to help.

Kellie, yes we are seeing Dr. Wonderful and so far he is still wonderful. Could do without the bitchy triage nurse but apparently I have no choice but to go through her everytime I call. Everytime she asks me if I am sure I am pregnant, No bitch, I am just pretending. Really would like to smack her.

Catherine, thanks for posting your list of complaints, I don't need to now as you got them covered for me dear. Keep up the good work, 14 weeks yee haa!!!!!

Soralis, congratulations on the birth of your baby girl!!! So very happy for you.

Cricket, I love your paintings.

Everyone else, best of wishes to you in whatever stage of life you are at.

Not much to report

Not much happening here. Still feeling sick in the afternoons and tired. Had to go buy a bigger bra yesterday and oh my word! It feels so much better now. Not that I was spilling out of my other ones but they must have been getting close because when I took those suckers off at the end of the day it felt like someone had crushed the girls. ;)

Funny story: Friday night I was sitting in my chair and Alex decided he needed some "Mommy" time or something. Anyway, he was sitting with me and I was kind of slouching and my shirt had ridden up so my gut was hanging out. Alex pokes at my belly and says, "Is that the baby?" and I had to tell him, "No honey, that is just fat." Then I proceed to grab 3 inches of fat and wiggled it and he grabs some too. He thought that was the funniest thing ever. Then the rest of the weekend he would walk by me and grab my fat belly. So yeah, we don't have much to entertain ourselves with, do we?

Steve got his grill, finally. The one I told him I would buy him if he "would just pick a fucking house already!", after we had looked at our 40th freaking house last fall and he still couldn't decide if he liked anything about any of them.

We also bought a chest freezer for the basement. So that will be nice, to not have to go shopping every single week, hopefully anyway.

Mom has still been putzing in the yard. The garden is growing like crazy. We might be able to have fresh lettuce from the garden soon. I hope that all 10 of our tomato plants produce. I am dying for a fresh from the garden tomato.

So that is all that is happening in these parts. Hope you all are doing ok.

We have a heartbeat!

Had my first appointment yesterday and they did an ultrasound. Baby Blob is ahead of schedule, measuring in at 8 weeks 4 days. Here I thought I was just barely 7 weeks. There was a heartbeat but the doctor wasn't able to get a rate on it. The actual doc did the ultrasound and he said he didn't know how to work the machine yet to do the heartrate. I go back in 2 weeks for another ultrasound then on the 29th go for the nuchal fold testing.

So that was the big excitement yesterday. That and getting lost in the driving rain coming back because the husband decided that it would be safer to get on roads he didn't know then to just stay on the freeway. We ended up in Illinois at one point on our drive. The usual hour to hour and a half long drive took almost 3. Good thing I had my book along. ;)

Hope all of you are doing well. Take care.

This was not how I wanted to wake up.

Not last night but the night before it was SO hot upstairs at our house. So we had the windows open, the fan on and for once I wasn't covered up with my 10 blankets. Apparently at some point I ended up on my back and the 20 pound cats decided that it was a wonderful idea at 2:00 am to jump up onto my chest to get on the bed. Needless to say, I woke up IMMEDIATELY and screamed or gasped or something. I sat up and I open my eyes and see Steve jumping out of bed and I thought his eyes were going to pop out of his head. I say to him that one of the damn cats, not sure which of the two fatties it was as I think I sent it flying, had jumped on my boobs. Then I lay back down on my side and go back to sleep. Doesn't that sound like it was fun? It was freaking painful. I don't know what their problem is, the cats. They cannot not walk on my chest every freaking chance that they get. If they aren't walking on it they have to be laying on it with their boney little cat elbows poking at my boobs. If we didn't have to have the doors open in the bedroom to get some air movement they would be so banished at night.

Yesterday I forgot to take my morning progesterone suppository. I felt fine all day but by the time I got home and we sat down to eat, my stomach was sticking out like I was 6 months pregnant and was hard as a rock and SO sore. I am thinking that the progesterone deficiency is what did in my first baby as I had that exact same issue for about the last 5 weeks of that pregnancy, but that was with the oh so stellar, NOT, doctor. So as soon as I got done with dinner I put in the progesterone and layed down on the couch and within an hour I was feeling a hundred percent better. I made sure to remember it this morning.

The big old pine tree came down on Tuesday. I stayed home on Wednesday to help my mom and my aunt work in the yard. My aunt did a beautiful job redoing the flower bed around the tree stump. I will take pictures and post them next week. Mom redid part of the patio, expanded it and made another plant bed. She planted the herbs that she had started from seeds in the ground and it is so cute. I still am waiting for one of my neighbors to come over with a rotitiller to grind up the garden area so that we can get that going. We have some of the tomatoe plants in along the side of the garage that was wasted space but gets good drainage and lots of sun. Can't wait til the tomatoes are ripe, YUM!!!!

Kellie! Glad to see you back. We need to get together and you have to come over and see the house some weekend. I promise I won't take you up in the attic of the garage where Steve has a pet bat living now. Damn thing refuses to leave.

DD, SO FREAKING EXCITED FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Catherine, you are doing so well my dear friend and happy belated birthday to both of your men. I have some stuff I need to send you too, I have been tripping over it for at least a month now.

LisaP, Keep going strong my dear.

Kate, So happy for you and that the news just keeps staying great for you.

Sarah, what's happening with you?

Watson, WooHoo! Go baby Watson's!

Jess, I didn't leave you a comment, but was pissing myself over Rosie giving the dog dish soap. Hope he didn't get the shits from that. ;)

DinoD, Hope all is still going well and that you are taking it easy. 33 weeks, by my count. Can you please email me your address NOW, so I can get you a gift for your baby? PLEASE????

Stephanie and Lola, MUST. HAVE. PICTURES. OF. YOUR. BABIES!!!!!

Cricket, I just have to say, again, that we need to get our boys together one of these days, I want a picture of them side by side, they seriously could be brothers, plus then we would get to hang out;) My boy just lost, another, tooth this morning. He goes for 4 years between losing the first 8 and now another 8 in the last month or so. Poor kid has front teeth and a couple of molars and the new teeth coming out the sides of his gums, so really not much to chew with. ;) Such similarities, it is kind of scary.

Happy weekend to you all. Hopefully I can stay awake until 4:30 and not barf on the way home. ;)
