Team Pink, No Dink?

Crude but hey, you know me. Everything went great at the big ultrasound today. Everything looked great. All organs are there and doing what they are supposed to. We have two arms and two legs with big feet attached. I didn't realize just how stressed I was over that. From what the doctor didn't see it looks like we are pretty sure it is a girl. Nothing for sure until D-day but I am so hoping Piglet is a she. Weighed in at 11 ounces, which the doctor said was great. Nothing to indicate that there is Down's, all bone lengths were good. Another load off.

I got to meet a new baby from one of my girls from LAM. Her baby decided to wait until yesterday to make her arrival. I know it was just so she could meet me. ;) She is adorable. 7 pounds 12 ounces, full head of black hair. Mom and baby are doing very well. Congratulations Becca and Welcome to the world Sofia.

Hope you all are doing well and I hope that blogger allows me to post this from home. Have a great weekend and I will check back in with you on Monday. Now I might be able to sleep again.

17 weeks today!

Wow! I still can't believe that this is happening, that just jinxed it for me though. I am starting to feel a little movement every once in a while. I also have been having cramps off and on, but so far no bleeding. I am expecting a Doppler in the mail anyday from one of the girls on LAM. So we will see how badly I can freak myself out with that. ;)

Steve brought home a crib, EEEK! He got it from his boss who's baby is 2 now and in a real bed. My crib is still in use by our realtor as her baby is only 8 months old.

I guess I need to start hitting the end of the summer garage sales and pick up some stuff but I think I will wait until after the big ultrasound on August 17th. That will be 19 weeks and hopefully it will show us that it has 2 arms and 2 legs. It only showed one of each at our last ultrasound, freaked me out a bit. How do you pick up a baby if it only has one arm?

Wow, all baby/pregnancy post, never did one of these before.

In other news, we still need to get the bathroom remodeled, they have the tub I want on sale so I should at least buy it now while it is half the price. Plus we need to get started on getting the attic room finished so either Alex can move in there or we can put the baby in there.

Hope all of you are doing well.

Dino, congrats on that beautiful daughter. I just stare at her picture, every day.

Catherine, we are going to get through this together! Even though we both keep having those scared times. We are a team, on either side of the big pond of Lake Michigan. ;)

DD, how are you doing? Hope the hives are going away. That must suck in this hot weather.

Watson, Yeah babies! Keep growing little ones.

Kellie, if you still read here, send me an email. I miss you.

Kristin, so sorry about your news. I never even got a chance to post a congrats to you. Take care of yourself.

Cricket, your son is freaking adorable and glad to see the braces are working for him. I probably should have had that done on Alex but now he will just have to wait.

Everyone else, hope all is well and that you are staying cool in this scorching heat. You all suck if you have air conditioning, we don't! :( Talk at you soon.
