Wow, It's Been a While

I didn't realize it has been so long since I blogged last. What possessed me to blog tonight you ask? Yes, I pretend that I haven't lost all of you. I was watching Ameri*an Id*l tonight and my fav for this year Jason did a song that made me cry. The first time I ever heard that version was when Kristin put together the song with a slide show for Thomas's memory. I bawled watching that and as I sat here tonight rocking my little girl I remembered what I felt watching and listening to Kristin's painful memory. I know I have not had the road that most of you, my dear friends, have had to follow.

I still think that if things had been different I would have an almost 3 year old or a 2 year old running around the house. I wouldn't trade my girl for the world though and am so glad that she is finally here and in my eyes she is perfect.

She is starting to actually laugh and follows me with her eyes when I move or come back into the room. She is still the champion farter and burper and now thinks when she farts it is funny. That is totally my fault because I laugh whenever she does it because I am still shocked that such loud noise can come from such a little thing.

I went back to work last week and Steve stayed home with her. She survived. ;)

I was actually able to pump enough everyday to keep her fed and have some to freeze for the next day.

She is at the baby sitter this week. Yesterday I had to wake her up, she had gotten used to sleeping until 8:30 or 9:00. She was not happy with me and I got the stink eye when I left her at the baby sitter. Today she woke on her own at 6:00 and was my normal happy baby with big smiles and flashing the big blue eyes at me. Then she was telling stories and smiling like crazy when I left her today. Plus she took a major poop just as I was leaving and apparently it went through her shirt, jeans and onto the baby sitter's shirt. So they both had a clothing change first thing this morning.

She has been eating 16 ounces during the day, that is not counting the 2:00 am, 6:00am and all the evening feedings. I guess we don't have to wonder why she weighed in at 13 pounds 1 ounce at her 2 month appointment.

I hope you all are still doing great and finally we are done with the snow, at least all is off the ground around here. So Happy Spring. I hope to get back here more now but it seems that all I can talk about is my little darling.

Can't put up any pictures from this computer because Mr. Computer Genius either moved them or deleted them on me. I will try to sneak on from work tomorrow and add them for you. Daddy didn't think to take any pictures of her last week. Apparently baseball and basketball games were more important.
