Sorry for this sappy post

Does life get any better then sitting here in my pjs with a milk drunk baby on the
Boppy on my lap? Well, maybe the cooing and smiles that I get more and more often.

I so don't want to go back to work. I did figue it out yesterday that I have 5 weeks not 4 before hell starts again.

The only positive I can find about going back is that I will have 10 boxes of GirlScout cookies waiting for me. ;) That should put the baby weight back on now that I lost it. It didn't take me long to lose those 20 minor pounds I gained with her but I still need to relose the 40 pounds that I seemed to have regained in the last 14 years since Alex was born. ;) At least I can wear pants that zip again.

Auntie Catherine, Thank you so much for the box of goodies that you sent to Marjorie. I don't know which of us likes that super soft blankie more. I do know that last night when I was getting her jammies on and she was doing the arms out looking like a baby orangutan that when I gave her the blanket she wrapped her arms around it and snuggled up so cute. I wish I would have had the camera.

I gave birth to a trucker

If only I could share with you the noises and smells that I am dealing with today. ;)

I swear that this kid thinks she should be a trucker with her "beer" burps and farts. She is blowing through diapers everytime she poops. Good think I discovered Oxy*clean. It really works on those shit stains.

Most days she is just a lovely little milk drunk bundle of snuggles but today she is a freaking trucker. Sh doesn't want to be held, doesn't want to eat, doesn't want to sleep. So she is telling her sad tale of woe to the mirror but it isn't getting her very far. She has also started this fake cry thing. she will squak then look to see if she is getting anyone to jump to do her bidding.

I suppose I should get her on some sort of schedule for the babysitter when I finally go back to work. I really need to win the lottery before then so I don't have to go back.
So that is my fun today. Wouldn't trade it for the world though.

Hope you all are doing good. I am so ready for summer to get here.

We are still here (warning baby pictures)

Attempt at getting a smile.
Big brother.
Zonked in mommy's bed. Favorite place to sleep.

Hi all!

We are still here and doing well. I just find it so hard to put her down knowing that I am going back to work in 5 weeks.

She is growing like a week and has more awake time everyday. I just wish she would stop the wanting to be wide awake at 10:00 at night. Last night was a rough one but we survived. She has a wheeze to her breathing but only once in a while so not sure what is going on with that. She has gotten the baby acne but not nearly as bad as Alex had it.

I am so glad that she decided to join our family this winter. Not sure if you have seen the massive amounts of snow that we have been getting here in Wisconsin, but it is way too much for me. Especially down here in the south. So it is really nice to just sit and hold my baby and watch the world go by and off to work. We do have to go out first thing in the morning to take my big baby to school but I figure she needs the fresh air.

Lola, I don't have your email address on my home email so I couldn't let you know that the beautiful scrapbook that you sent us arrived last week on the big snowfall day Wednesday. thank you so much! that was so nice of you.

Dino, I took pictures of her in the adorable outfits you sent but the pink is so light that the cute details just don't show up.

Catherine, I got the hint that you sent something but it hasn't arrived yet. I will make sure Alex keeps an eye out for it tomorrow. I can't wait to see what you sent. I love getting mail.

Gotta go, someone is STARVING.
