Ever have this?

Ever have the feeling that you have spiders crawling on your leg, all over it at once, and there aren't any spiders? I have that going on right now on the leg WITHOUT all the spider veins and varicose veins on it. Any thoughts about that? Oh, and why do I get nauseous in the afternoon, on my drive home from work so I have to try not to barf all the way home? Not liking this pukey stuff.

The outside

This is the back door and part of the patio/lanscaping I did around the tree.
This is going to be the garden. We just need to get some cow poop and get it rotitilled.
This is the part of the patio and herb gardens that mom has been working on. This is the area that I took all the pavers and bricks out of when I did my stuff around the tree and she then filled it back in with extra bricks that were under part of the house.
This is the tree that will be getting removed in a week or so. I don't know if you can tell or not but this tree is about 10 feet from the corner of the garage(left section) and only about 15 feet from the kitchen window. The branches rub on the roof of the garage and the house and drip sap on everything whenever it gets warm out. So it is going!

We finally sold the trailer, I signed it over to the new people on Wednesday. So woohoo!!! I will end up with $8500 when it is all said and done. So that will be great. Can pay for the tree removal and remodel the bathroom.

What do you all think of this proposal? My mom says we should install at a minimum a hookup for a washer and dryer in the bathroom when we redo it since the main laundry is all the way in the basement. I guess we would have to find a very small washer and dryer, or maybe those stackable ones? I like having my space in the bathroom right now but it would be convenient to not have to haul stuff down two floors and then up again. Let me know what you think of her idea.

So that is it. Happy Memorial Day Weekend.

Here are some pictures of the outside of my house, with all the work we have done to the back yard.

Thanks Cricket!

Cricket Tagged me. I am supposed to come up with 8 things that you don't know about me. Just so you know, I may put in something that is in an old post, I am not going back to read what I already wrote. If you see I put up something that I already told you, leave me a comment pointing it out and I will add something else, OK?

1. I want to live on a little farm in the country.
2. I want a mini-cow. They actually make these now, how cool is that?
3. I love having my feet rubbed.
4. I make more money then my husband so if we have more then one baby growing in there he would be the one to stay home with the kids.
5. When Alex was a baby, I COULD.NOT.WAIT. to go back to work. Now, I would give anything to not go back to work, ever.
6. I am covering a workload that was originally split between two full time employees, yet IF I can fill 4 hours a day, I am lucky. Yet they don't pay me anymore.
7. I want to just go to sleep for the next however many months and then just wake up with a healthy baby in my arms. Think we can arrange that?
8. Am thinking that I was kind of foolish to end up in this situation at my age. So I am at this time, kind of ambivalent about the whole thing. I am sure if we see a heartbeat on June 4th that whole statement will be out the window, but for now I am trying to not get attached. I figure that the progesterone is either working or else just delaying the inevitable disaster.
9. I know, more then necessary, but I forget sometimes that IT is in there and then wonder why I have to keep peeing so much during the day and at night. Yeah, blonde much? ;)
10. I actually like my new house, finally. It helps that we have great neighbors. I have friends! In real life now. Yeah!

So I took off Thursday and Friday last week to relax. Well, on my official birthday, Thursday, my cousin took me for a manicure and a pedicure. That was nice. Steve cooked steaks on the grill, yum!

Then Friday, my dad and I fixed the fence in the back corner of my yard and built a gate so that I can go over to the neighbors and they can come over to our house. I got a huge cut on my left leg from those damn bridal wreath stumps that are still out there. Then later, after I took my shower, I went into the attic to look for a pair of sandals and ended up doing the whole feet up above my head fall on my ass and scraped up my arm. It was pretty funny actually. Then Dad treated us to dinner out, prime rib!

Then Saturday mom and I putzed in the yard early in the morning and then I helped dad get the food cooked for the party that afternoon. Of course everyone who said they were coming didn't show up but that just gave us leftovers for Sunday.

Sunday mom and I cleaned and puttered in the basement. I will have to take a picture for you. We set up the extra dining room table that was stored down there. Plus we made a cover for over the opening to the crawl space and mom hung these butt ugly lace curtains over the cover. So we now have a "formal dining room" in the basement. We just need to get some bookcases so I can unpack all my books and we will be all set. We also go a dehumidifier for the basement, which is really nice.

And now I am back to the sucky work. So Happy Monday!

Only 8 more weeks til DinoD has her little girl. I am so happy for her.

Have to wait another week or so for DD's news, hopefully it will be good.

Catherine, is "plotting" again. ;) And also still gestating. You go girl!

Vivien is back to running and I am so jealous that she has the will power to get out there and do that. I have been thinking about it for about 5 years now and do I ever get my ass off the couch? NO! So you go girl. Great job.

Lisa P. had to get her hair cut. I am hoping and praying that you beat this my dear. I know you can do it.

Kate and Sarah are still in the family way, as far as I know, since their last posts. Congratulations girls! I am so happy for you.

I will just let you decide if you want to be tagged or not. If you do, let me know so I can go see what weirdness you have, see if you can beat mine. ;)

I am sure there will be more updates as the week progresses, I need to go find something for lunch.

I can't think of who else I read this morning that had big news. Sorry if I missed you. It will come to me.

Now What?

So this is what showed up after 20 minutes on May 8th. I had another one on May 9th and 10th. Tried calling my doctor and got the bitch nurse who told me that I had to wait until I was at least a week late. I was officially late on Saturday, the 12th. I finally sent my doctor a fax since the bitch wouldn't put me through to one of his two nurses that work only with him. They called me back Friday afternoon and I am now on progesterone suppositories, oh boy are those fun, not. It feels like I am pissing my pants all fucking day and night. I really am not, yet. ;) I know it will be coming. So I need to make an appointment for 3 weeks from now. The nice nurse said that they want it then so that when they do the ultrasound if there is going to be a heartbeat, we will see it then.
So yeah, apparently I really did ovulate early and it really can happen when you only have sex twice in a month. Yeah, really. Or maybe it was just getting the news about the Turkeese twins that triggered my competitive ovaries to finally do their fucking jobs. Oh, I suppose now that I may, possibly, fingers crossed, pray for me, get a kid out of this, I should stop swearing?
So needless to say, not quite sure what to think yet about this whole situation. I mean, we have been trying for almost 2 years, I will freaking 40 on Thursday for the love of Pete! I just hope that if, it actually really gets here and all that good stuff that it isn't a vacant, staring blob like the in-laws last kid. You know it could happen, who knows where that came from in that one. Yeah, so needless to say, I am kind of kicking myself in the head with, "What the hell was I thinking?".
So I thought you all should know what is going on. I am sure that I will be needing you regardless of how long this last or what happens in the next few weeks or months.
Catherine, you can tell your secret now. ;)
Everyone keep your fingers crossed for DD. She is hopefully going to be the next one announcing success. It runs in threes, you know. I know I am thinking of her and wishing her all the best.

The Couch and the Chair

I finally finished reupholstering my couch. It took an entire day but I did it. I took last Tuesday, Thursday and Friday off so that I could get the couch done, the house cleaned and all my crap out of mom and dad's room since they got back Friday night.

This is the before, I had it half torn apart before I remembered to take a picture. Then you can easily tell the after of both the couch and the chair.

I built a patio by myself, need to take a picture of that for you. Did that the last Sunday in April. I felt that pain for a while afterwards. But I think it looks pretty good considering that I had to keep changing directions with it due to freaking tree roots. So that was fun.

Not much happening in these parts. Congrats to Catherine though and also sending you lots of love today.

Hope that all the rest of you are doing well, DinoD?

Good luck to DD, now that you figured out how to give yourself shots. ;)

I have been peeking in on all of you but just don't have any wonderfully exciting comments to send your way.
